12 DIY Natural Cleaning, Skincare and Wellbeing Recipes

Posted on

One way to know what's in your cleaning, skincare and wellbeing products it to make them yourself!

There are lots of great DIY recipes available, all you need are the basic ingredients and essential oils. You’ll be amazed how simple, yet effective the formulas can be.

Why should I switch to natural products?

  • If there’s one environment that you and your family is in contact with more than any other, it’s your home
  • Any conventional household products contain a range of nasty, synthetic chemicals that can be inhaled or ingested.
  • The Australian government does not require every ingredient to be listed on product containers — even the most hazardous ones — making it even more of a mystery for those of us trying to create a toxin-free environment for our loved ones.
  • Truly natural cleaning products (beware of greenwashing) are completely toxin-free and made of natural cleansers, essential oils and organic ingredients.
  • Don't forget that what you wash down the drain ends up in our waterways and back into our ecosystem and food chain - would you want remnants of your laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid, surface cleaners ending up back in the food you put on your family's table?

Here are some of The Clean Collective's favourite DIY recipes
